Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Murmur, including our website, Chrome extension, and Figma widget (together, the "Service") operated by Murmur ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Murmur lets you leave voice and video feedback directly on Figma files. The Service includes a Chrome extension for recording and a Figma widget for placing and viewing notes. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; access another user's data without permission; or use the Service to send spam or harass others.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the recordings, comments, and other content you create ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights needed to share any content you upload.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, and design, is owned by Murmur and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or logos.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service works alongside third-party platforms such as Figma and Google Chrome. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be retained indefinitely.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Murmur will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
